Written in a very personable tone, this book has all of the common-sense info I was looking for to start a garden. The author speaks from her own experience, but also gives advice for other zones as well. This laid-back approach to gardening encourages the reader to consider "What would Mother Nature do?", and thus espouses stress-free gardening. I will be starting my garden bed this year using the advice from this book!Product details

How To Grow Vegetables Without Losing Your Mind edition by Emily Josephine Crafts Hobbies Home eBooks Reviews
This is a good guide for vegetable growing. Gardening is a lot of work, and it's always good to have help with the details. Saves having to do things twice.
A bit quirky, but has some useful ideas that I hadn't come across before.
Was an ok guide. I have seen better but also worse.
There were quite a few things in this book that I hadn't considered. I am expanding my garden this year...so this was very thought provoking. Well written and easy to understand.
this has alt of info not a lot of pages. makes you think of how to get to easier gardening and more organic learning to let the earth do its job for you. will read again just before planting time and take notes
I have been building a library of resource books and this one fit well. Somethings are easily handled at home and I like to have options. I'm not a natural green thumb so this has helped!
This is one of the better books I've read on gardening. I feel that she still misses some elements of simplification, and naturalization, but is far closer than some of the "recommended" books. SOOO good to see a book that did not start off telling you that you JUST HAVE TO DOUBLE DIG! It was an enjoyable read as well, and I'd recommend it for someone wanting to get more natural and creative in how they garden.
